She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Link and Adele Snow Link; and her siblings, Regina and Kevin. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lawson; her children, Mark Engel (Gail) of Charlotte, NC, Robert Lawson (Jacqueline) of Alabama and Lorrie Karas (Jack) of Weddington, NC; her brother Artie Link of Gainsville; and her grandchildren, Alex Engel, Hunter Karas, Stephen Karas and Robert Lawson, III.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Humane Society of Union County, 4015 Waxhaw Hwy, Monroe, NC 28112.
