He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Privett and Elizabeth Yow. He is survived by: his wife Linda "Diane" Privett; his sons, Tim Privett of Myrtle Beach and Dale Privett of Monroe; his brothers, Mike Privett (Brenda) of Monroe and Jimmy Privett (Deborah) of Reidsville; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas and Cam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
