We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2024, at the age of 87, Johnnie Rorie of Monroe, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Hargett and Ruby Hargett; her husband Eugene Rorie; her daughter Mary Rorie Phinney; her siblings, Nancy Hargett Simpson and Jimmy Hargett; and her son-in-law David Ford.

She is survived by: her children, Ellen Rorie Ford, Joseph Eugene Rorie, Jr. (Karen) and James David Rorie; her grandchildren, Daniel Ford (Rachelle), Adam Rorie, Kevin Phinney (Marissa) and Morgan Rorie James (Skip); her great grandchildren, Rylee Ford and Addison Ford; and her son-in-law Don Phinney.
