Mullis and Mary Purser Mullis; his siblings, Leonard, Bill Mullis, Gladys Pagie and Lena Allen; his son Robert Eugene Mullis (Robbie); his wife Peggy W. Mullis; his children, Jerry Mullis Jr. (Melissa), Garry Mullis (Geraldine) and Julie Mullis; and his stepchildren, Rebecca Roberts (Chris), Mack Hinson, Sarah Crump (Jeremy) and Stephanie Kingaby (Simon). He was also cherished by his 18 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
