It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerrie Lynn Winchester of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Austin Sims and Madeline Newell Sims; and her siblings, Billy Sims and Sandra Whitley. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Sidney Winchester; her children, Kevin Winchester (Terri), Mark Winchester (Sandra Funderburk) and Staci Starnes; and her siblings, Larry Sims, Rick Sims and Sherry Springs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Monday, February 15, 2021 in Waxhaw City Cemetery, 111 Arbor Drive, Waxhaw, NC 28173, the family request those in attendance to please follow social distancing guidelines and mask mandate.
