She was predeceased by: her parents, James Porter and Edna Porter; her husband Jesse L. Lowder; and her brothers, Kenneth and Jerry.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Pearson (Ray), Tonia Helms (Chuck) and Jerry Lowder (Vicky); and her sister Kaye Stewart. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church (7608 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at the same location.
