It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Samuel Gantt of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Gantt and Frances M. Britton. He is survived by: his wife Juanita M. Gantt; his children, Shannon Hyman (J. Allen Hyman) and Britton S. Gantt; and his grandchildren, Jackson Hyman, Hannah Gantt, Bryson Castle, Dayvis Castle and Landrie Castle.
