He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Burnsie Mullis and Mary Jo Funderburk; his wife Susan Winchester Mullis; his stepchildren, Robert Mullis (Tiffanie) of Monroe, NC., Allen Mullis (Jennifer) of Monroe, NC. and Russell Mullis (Erika) of Monroe, NC.; and his grandsons, Wyatt and Eli.
