He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Tompkins and Bernice Tompkins; and his brother Evan Marcus Tompkins (Joan Christine). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Elliott Selby Tompkins; his son Michael Alexander Tompkins; his stepchildren, Stephanie Elizabeth Selby (Slade), Sara Selby Schueneman (Matt), David Elliott Selby and James Jacob Selby (Sunshine); and his siblings, Mary Ann Tompkins Mummey and Rollin Putnam Tompkins (Kathryn). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
