It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Joines Rogers (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Joines and Lillian Joines; her husband Rev. James A. "Bud" Rogers Sr.; her siblings, Lee Matthew "Buster" Joines, Dorothy Rogers and Aileen Pressley; her children, Rachel Elaine Plowman and James A. "Sonny" Rogers, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Lonnie Plowman and Claude Marty Helms; and her granddaughter Chelsea Lea Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Rogers Helms, Matthew "Chip" Rogers and Mark Rogers (Amy); her daughter-in-law Paula Rogers; her sister Betty "Boots" Barnhardt; and her grandchildren, Michael Plowman (Alison), Michelle Plowman, Jennifer Plowman Parker (Allen), Thomas "Junior" Stoner, Patricia "Trish" Simpson (Steve), James A. "Allen" Rogers III (Kim), Chris Rogers, Bryan Rogers (Caitlin), Mandy Ross (Ethan) and Buddy Rogers. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
