He was predeceased by: his parents, Heyward Beaty McAteer and Jeanette Revels McAteer. He is survived by: his wife Diane McAteer; his daughters, Kim Noggle (Blaine) of Iron Station, NC, Heather Mullis (Randy) of Monroe, NC and Anjanette Gill of Gastonia, NC.; and his sisters, Karen Cherry of Charlotte, NC, Paulette McAteer of Chester, SC, Suzette Adams and Debra Steen (Allen) of Inman, SC.. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews.
