He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Best Richardson and Edna Earle Arnette Richardson; his wife Freida Stiles Richardson; and his sister Maria Richardson Bliss. He is survived by: his son Hank Richardson; his daughter-in-law Debbie Richardson of Indian Trail; his grandchildren, Stephanie Palmer of Charlotte and Alex Richardson of Indian Trail; and his sisters, Jacqueline Richardson Huntley of Lilesville and Lynn Richardson of Durham. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
