He is survived by: his wife Judy Medlin; his son Randy Simpson (Rhonda); his stepdaughter Crystal Medlin; his grandchildren, Sendy Simpson, Sierra Simpson and Justin Foster; his great grandchild Dakota Efird; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Simpson, Billy Ray Simpson and Patsy Barbee.
