It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Rorie Watts of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Rorie and Bernice Rorie; her husband Willie Watts; her son Ricky Plyler; her grandson Lacy Watts; her great grandchild Cody Simpson; her daughter-in-law Yana Plyler; and her siblings, Edith Keziah, Earl, Ray, Alvin and Carson Rorie.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Watts (Ann), Robbie Plyler (Debbie), Billy Plyler (Chandra), Donna Simpson (Chip), Karen Dorton (Mike) and Candie Porter (Fred); her brother Billy Rorie; and her sisters-in-law, Wynona and Peggy Rorie. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
