With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry Alonzo Godfrey of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blythe Godfrey and Della Stephenson Godfrey; and his siblings, William Godfrey, Douglas Godfrey, Helen McLean, Mabel McCain and Tots Horne.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Godfrey; his children, Karen Frazier (John) of Charlotte, NC, Debra Hinson (Tim) of Lake Wateree, SC and David Godfrey (Shelly) of Monroe, NC.; and his sister Carolyn Howey of Monroe, NC.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
