He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold William Shireman and Elma Stella Simpson Shireman; his wife Lucille Shireman; his daughter Sylvia Shireman; and his sister Jo Ann Hawn.
He is survived by: his sons, Stan Shireman (Nyla) of Monroe, NC and Steve Shireman of Tucker, GA; and his siblings, Jeanne Propp, Joy Propp and Justin Shireman. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
