It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grier Bennett Simpson (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Allison Simpson and Margaret Huey Simpson; and his siblings, Bill Simpson, Jean Cole and Helen Van Huss.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Gordon Simpson; his children, Rick Simpson (Sherri) of Lancaster and Susan Simpson of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Jonathan Simpson, Michael Simpson and Lindsey Belk; and his sister Carolyn Starnes (Reece).
