She is survived by: her children, Maurice Lee Belk Jr., Richard Daryl Belk, Jeffery Lang Belk, Eric Lydell Belk, Cherney Belk McConomy and Alisha Belk Tate; and her siblings, Wilma Irene and William Ernest Newell of Waxhaw. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
