She was predeceased by: her mother Eula Bowers; her husband Albert Helms; her mother-in-law Carrie Price; and her niece Susan Cherico. She is survived by: her sons, Albert Eugene Helms and Jackie Helms (Pamela); her granddaughter Amanda Parker (Chris); her great grandchildren, Ezra and Kya Parker; her sisters, Henrietta Pierce (Kerry) of Wingate, NC, Brenda Watkins (Rick) of St. Petersburg, FL and Linda Rape of Monroe, NC; and her pet Trouble.
