He was predeceased by: his father Frank Cleatus Weir; and his siblings, Paul Steven Weir and Bettie Weir Finch. He is survived by: his mother Alma Catoe Weir; his son Gerald Lynn Weir, Jr.; and his brother Robert Weir, Sr. of McBee, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
