She was predeceased by: her parents, Burdette Crowell and Wilma Crowell; her husbands, Calvin Mills and Manley C. Ellis; her son Reggie Mills; and her siblings, Lucille Clontz, Cleo Horne, Joyce Derrick, Roland Crowell, Joe Crowell and Tommy Crowell.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Mills Whitley and Steve Mills (Michelle); her grandchildren, Chad Whitley (Jennifer), Tiffany Mills (Matthew), Jay Mills, John Mills (Janine), Ashley Knight (Chris) and Alex Mills; her great grandchildren, Brett Mills (Brittani), Tyler Mills (Chloe), Seth Whitley (Lauren), Kristina Whitley, Maddox Knight, Dexton Knight and Brox Knight; her great great grandchild Maeve Ivy Whitley; her sister Jean Russell; and her daughter-in-law Terri Mills.
