In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ellen Porter Hinson leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ellen Porter Hinson may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dowd Allen Simpson; her parents, Ada Moser Hinson and Reuben James Hinson; and her sister Alease Hinson Strawn. She is survived by: her sons, Don Simpson (Cynthia) and Richard Simpson (Bonita); her granddaughter Tara Simpson Beaver (Grant Beaver); and her great grandchild Aria Beaver. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
