She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis McCain Hedgepath and Mary Stowe Hedgepath; and her husband John Hall "Bill" Helms. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Helms and Kimberly Nicholls (Scot); her brother Kenneth Hedgepath; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Madi and Jackson Nicholls.
