She was predeceased by: her parent Prince Talbert; and her siblings, Robert Talbert, Willie Morton, Katherine "Dink" Varnadore Harper, Connie Whitt, Louella Walters and Ruth Currie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Smith Baxley of Red Springs, Jean Smith Hill (Marvin) of West End, Phyllis Smith of Indian Trail and Geraline Smith Castle (Larry) of Atlantic Beach; and her sister Mary "Jo" Morton Holland of Wagram. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
COVID restrictions require facial masks with social distancing, and limited attendance for all services.
The family requests donations be given to Scotland Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
