Edith Sweatt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Sweatt (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Rape and Gladys Rape; her husband Johnny Sweatt; her daughter Angela Jane Sweatt; and her brother Parley Rape.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Sweatt (Rhonda) and Melissa Bullard (Mike); her grandchildren, Jonathan Sweatt (Melissa), Miranda Collins (Daniel), Eric Bullard (Kye), Kevin Sweatt (Kacey) and Steven Sweatt (Brittany); and her siblings, Barbara Plyler (Bill), Katherine Arant (Billy Ray), Patsy Mangum (Ronnie), Vickie Greene, Lori Kopplin, Lisa Baucom, Dennis Rape (Janet) and Joe Rape (Peggy). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
