It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eaver Phifer of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Horton and Eaver McClellan. She is survived by: her husband Earnest Phifer; her daughter Shannon Horton of Monroe, NC; and her sisters, Mary Horton Nivens (Curtis) of Monroe, NC and Susan Campbell of Wadesboro, NC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
