He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marcella Locklear and Braddy Carter; his grandparents, Winston Carter and Bessie Mae Chavis; his siblings, Tommy, Judy, Betty and Jane; his wife Judith Ann Moss of Waxhaw; his sons, Rickey Carter of Monroe and Scott Carter (Terri) of Norwood; his grandchildren, Michael Carter of Monroe, Christian Carter of Newton, Madalyn, Ashley (Wes) and Natalie; his great grandchildren, Summer, Weston and Catie; and his siblings, Michael, Tony, Stanley, Braddy Carter, Jr., Margaret and Joan.
