It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyle Helms (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Mae Cook Helms and Ward McKinnon Helms; his stepfather Ronald Van Helms; and his siblings, Linda Alexander, Jerry Helms, Bruce Helms and Jimmy Helms.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Helms; his daughters, Donna Coble, Celena Hayes, Amanda Wooten (Isaac) and Jennifer Hall; his grandchildren, Lindsey Edleblute (Jacob), Deshaune, Amyah Hall, Sophia, Wyatt Wooten, Alayah and Avonah Hall; and his siblings, Bryan Helms and Cathy Heflin.
