She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maude Funderburk of Virginia and Roy Baxter Funderburk; her husband Ted Osborne Morgan; her great grandchild Rhys Hendrick Morgan; her children, Ted (Milly), Marian and William "Bill"; her grandchildren, Brian, Chad Morgan (Stephanie), Tom (Michelle), Maggie Hairston, Meredith and Jenny Morgan; her niece Susie Morgan; her nephew David Morgan (Pam); and her goddaughter Gay Murrill.
In lieu of flowers it was Doris' wish that donations be made to the Endowment for Central's Music Program, Central's Garden Columbarium and Hospice of Union County.
