Dollie C. Smith Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dollie C. Smith of Monroe, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dollie left this world on November 9, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Dollie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dollie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, E. G. Cunningham and Loma Helms Cunningham; her sisters, Lorraine C. Phifer (L. T.) and Annie Vaughn Cunningham; and her husband Arnold W. Smith.

She is survived by: her friend Lee Park Baptist Church.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe (204 S Main St, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Worship Center at Lee Park Baptist Church (2491 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110).
