She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Learch and Harold Learch; and her siblings, James, Freddie, Butch and Donna.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Young; her children, Bob Jr. (Anna), James (Meshael), Pete (Sonia) and Tina (Mike); her grandchildren, Aicacia, Nolon, Alicia (Eric), James Jr. (Susanna), Savannah (Ben), Nina, Stephanie, Matthew, Jake (Camilyn), Zach and Luke; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Fiona, Atticus, Magnolia, Avery, Graylyn and Carter. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Marshville (1636 Old Hwy 74, Marshville, NC 28103). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Baptist missions organization of your choice in Dawn's memory, ensuring that her legacy of love and service continue.
