He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Wade Griffin and Patsy Manus Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Helen Pigg Griffin; his children, Scott Griffin (Malissa) of Graham, Megan Coleman (Jordan) of Manning and Hannah Griffin (Kyle) of Pageland; his grandchildren, Jace Griffin, Savannah Griffin, Roscoe Lane, Oakley Griffin, Stetson Griffin and Michael Griffin; his sister Cindy Richardson (John); his nieces, Amber Johnston, Bailey, Laynie and Hadley Johnston; and his nephew Trevor Horne.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Home (204 S Main St, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church (3703 Mary Elizabeth Church Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173).
