She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Johnson and Helen Plyler Johnson; and her brother Chris Johnson. She is survived by: her son Brandon Snipes (Jennifer) of Kershaw; her brother Lane Johnson (Lisa) of Monroe; her nieces, Cheyenne and Beth; her stepdaughter Sandie Paul; and her grandchildren, Kelsey, Chase Sistare, Katie Allen and Mason James Snipes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mount Zion Baptist Church at 6907 Gus Eubanks Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.
