She was predeceased by: her parents, Kern Neal Price and Etta Arilla Helms Price; and her siblings, William Neal Price, James Whiteford Price, Charles Robert Price, Marvin Pruitt Price, Harold Lee Price, Mildred Odessa P. Helms, Sadie Pauline P. Wiggins, Hazel Elizabeth P. Mason and Jannie Loretta Price.

She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Taylor (Dicky); her grandson Ricky Taylor (Amy Hartis); her great grandchildren, Riley Taylor, Hadley Taylor and Leni Taylor; and her sister Mary Lucille Price Helms.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
