He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tewell and Betty Kovach Tewell; and his former wife Jackie Tewell. He is survived by: his children, Nick Tewell (Glenda), Dave Tewell (Christine) and Claudia Garoutte (Mike); his grandchildren, Tyler Tewell, Jesse Tewell and Kristen Frierson; his wife Joy Stack Tewell; his daughter Vicky McCraney (Jim); and his grandchildren, Brandon McCraney (Nicole), Brent McCraney (Stacy), Ashley McCraney Smith (Nick), Tiffany Stack, Kendera Everett (Chris) and Chad Stack. He is also survived by 3 Great Granddaughters.

She loved Chuck dearly and they had a great life for 13 years until Covid hit and changed his life with his long term Covid.
