He was predeceased by: his mother June Elizabeth Martin; his grandparents, Lula G. Fowler and Joe Morris; his brother-in-law Kevin Chandler Sr.; and his aunts and uncles, Sammie Thomas, Joe Neill Thomas, Johnsie Simms and Louie Simms.

He is survived by: his father Kelzo Martin Jr.; his sister Gina Chandler; and his nephews, Kevin Chandler Jr. and Matthew Chandler.
