She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Pernay Helms and Javie Ross Helms; her husband Harold Thomas; her daughter Sandra McCollum; and her brother Kenneth Helms.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Michael McCollum (Gretchen) and Douglas McCollum (Lisa); and her great grandchildren, Dorian and Lillian McCollum.
