She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Ashcraft and Tempie White; and her children, Carlton Louis Bennett, David Bennett, JC Bennett, Earnest Calvin Bennett and Jane Marsh.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home & Cremations (714 E Franklin St, Monroe, NC 28110). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Bennie Blakely Jr. Memorial Chapel (714 E Franklin St, Monroe, NC 28110). A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the New Meltonville Baptist Church (15482 White Store Rd, Peachland, NC 28133).
