He is survived by: his wife Carrie Wolfenden Powell; his sons, Chris Powell (Brooke) of Parkersburg, WV and Jason Powell (Keri) of Salisbury, NC; his grandsons, Knox Powell, Emmett Powell, Greyson Powell and CJ Powell; his brother David Powell (Donna) of Advance, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Kristin Blakley, Calli Wolfenden, Ryan Powell, Austin Powell, Brad Graham, Brent Wolfenden, Justin Wolfenden, David Wolfenden, Evan Wolfenden, Zach Wolfenden, Noah Wolfenden, Keegan Wolfenden and Alex Maples.
