He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander Williams and Mary Louise Wallace; his wife Tonie Eason Williams; and his sister Zelma Ann Williams. He is survived by: his children, Crystal O'Neal, Laura Laire (Todd), James A. Williams III and Charles Williams (Heather); his siblings, Betty Causey, John Williams and Charla Webb; and his nieces and nephews, Skylah Laire, Tristan Laire, Amber Williams, Sean Williams, Adam Williams, Ethan Williams, Emma O'Neal, Liam O'Neal, Rebekah O'Neal, Abigail O'Neal, Ryan O'Neal and Christopher O'Neal.
