She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. P. J. James and Alice Faye Smith James. She is survived by: her husband Larry Baucom; her children, Kenneth Hathcock (Kelly) of Albemarle, Jeff Hathcock (Tammy) of Monroe and Robin Thomas of Monroe; and her siblings, Kenneth James of Lake Lure and Marsha Page of Mint Hill. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
