She was predeceased by: her husband John Wayne Medlin; her parents, Allen Simpson and Estelene Simpson; and her sister Barbara Simpson Norwood. She is survived by: her children, John Medlin (Robin), Judy Poole (Larry), Laura Price (Eddie) and Melissa Muender (Mike); and her siblings, Thomas Simpson (Martha) of Winston Salem, Mazie Mangum (Gary) of Shelby and Marlene Little (Danny) of Monroe. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and spouses; and 17 great grandchildren.
