She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Rushing and Gertha Haigler Rushing; her husband Cecil Courtney; and her daughter Jane Coan. She is survived by: her children, Judy Baucom and William Courtney; her grandchildren, Michael Baucom and Courtney Baucom; and her siblings, Dean Blevins (Allen), Brenda Parks and Joyce Griffin. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 7918 Crooked Creek Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
