It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha C. Anderkin (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bertha C. Anderkin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy (Roy); and her grandsons, Shawn and Michael Blanton. She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Blanton of Fort Worth and Wanda Gay Burton of Monroe; and her grandchildren, Michelle McCarter of Fort Worth Texas, David Burton of Monroe and Julie Riggs of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Lakeview Baptist Church Golden Years Ministry.
