She was predeceased by: her father Robert Griffin; and her great-niece Lee Ann Griffin. She is survived by: her mother Sarah Griffin; her husband Steve; her brother Keith (Gail); her daughter Tonya Helms (Ed); her nieces, Faye Richards (David), Ginger Shaffer (Keith) and Jennifer Prickett (George); and her nephew Scott Funderburk.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Home (204 S Main St, Monroe, NC 28112).
