She is survived by: her husband Reverend Henry Rivers, Jr.; her sons, Henry (Mayra), Dale (Sonia), Vincent (Shanae), Samuel (Juvon) and Sean (Renee); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Austin, Jasmine, Courtney (Emmanuel), Lauryn, Alexis, Nathaniel, Maielle and Ryland; her siblings, Dollie Ann Johnson (Charles), Cassandra Powell, Melvin Powell (Angie), Betty Jenkins (Herman), Alfred Powell (Aminah), Mary Simmons and John Michael Smalls; and her sister-in-law Sheila Powell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
