It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold William Smith Jr. (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold W. Smith Sr. and Ellen Harrell Smith; and his siblings, Richard Smith, Dorothy Bennett and Eleanor Thain.
He is survived by: his wife Dollie Cunningham Smith. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
