He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Young McAllister; his daughter Audrey Laine Mershon (Marc); his granddaughters, Alexandra (Lexi) and Daisee; his daughter-in-law Gina McGee McAllister; his grandchildren, Brent Rushing (Misha), Lindsey VanHoose (Charles) and Sydney Hastings (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Levi and Lincoln Rushing.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church (7608 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110).
