A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bennie Blakely Jr. Memorial Chapel (714 E Franklin St, Monroe, NC 28110). A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at the Cross Roads AME Zion Church (7110 Old Goldmine Rd, Marshville, NC 28103).
