He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roland Cross and Irene Johnson Cross; his children, Kim Dickens (Kent) of Moncure, Kathy Karstaedt (Scott) of Moncure and Lisa Helbling (John) of West End; and his sisters, Jackie Smith of Moncure and Dianne Jones (Don) of Manteo. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, 13 wonderful grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
